Smoothie Bowls

October 12, 2015

You guessed it. ANOTHER FOODIE BLOG. I actually meant to make this in the summer, but I kind of went M.I.A this one. Sorry!

Smoothie bowls have become another massive crave of mine. If you've never had a smoothie bowl.. what're you doing? Firstly, let me explain to you what exactly smoothie bowls are, if it isn't already obvious.. it's a smoothie, but in a bowl.

Why am I so excited about this? Because I love smoothies. I get excited over smoothies. You'll likely catch me at Jugo Juice with my sister after a workout (when I actually work out..) because we love smoothies. But in this case, it's not just the smoothie... it's the TOPPINGS. Like a smoothie pizza. You can put whatever you want on it and it'll most likely taste good.

Well, not necessarily whatever you want.

I am going to share with you some of my favorite smoothie bowl recipes and toppings and once you try one, you won't think I'm crazy for going bananas over smoothie bowls.

Get it? Bananas over smoothie bowls.

bananas.
over smoothie bowls.

Anyway, now that you all know I'm hilarious.. it brings me to my first recipe.

Everyone likes a simple strawberry-banana smoothie, but everyone loves a strawberry-banana smoothie bowl.

1 tsp honey

handful of unsalted, raw nuts (cashews, etc.)
