December 25, 2015

Hello, my lovelies. It's been a while since I've posted, but I'm back with a makeup tutorial. I meant to post this BEFORE Christmas, but y'all know I'm late for e v e r y t h i n g (New Years' Resolution, anyone?)

Anyway, this glam look isn't only fabulous, but extremely long lasting. I've provided a 12-step tutorial below and alternatives for each makeup item. (I did take a step-by-step video and had planned to make gifs but of course, my camera wasn't actually filming.)

1. Prep your face with PRIMER | Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer
Primer is essential, especially if you have a deep-fryer face like myself. I use the Rimmel London Stay Matte Primer, because it's honestly one of the best primers I've used, and that's amazing for a drugstore primer.
2. Apply Foundation | Sephora 10H Wear Perfection Foundation 057 Deep Chocolate
I loooove the Sephora 10-hour wear perfection foundation. It provides a beautiful finish with amazing coverage.
3. Brows | Marcelle ACCENT Eyebrow Crayon brown
4. Brow Highlight | MAC Select Cover-Up Concealer NC50
5. Eyes | Urban Decay NAKED 2 Palette
Crease - Snakebite
Contour - Busted
Lid - Half Baked + Suspect
6. Liner | Maybelline Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Liner Blackest Black
7. Lashes | Ardell Glamour Lashes 105 Black
8. Highlight + Contour | Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Highlight/Contour
The contour wasn't quite dark enough, so I did mix it with some foundation. I used the MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NW55
9. Powder | Estee Lauder Double-Wear Stay-In-Place Powder 6C1 Rich Cocoa
10. Lips | Colourpop Lippie Pencil Ellarie
I used this as a liner.
11. Lips | Urban Decay Matte Revolution Lipstick Bad Blood
12. Setting Spray | Urban Decay All-Nighter Long-Lasting Setting Spray

Blush/Highlighter is optional!

There ya go, baby. Pair it with a sexy outfit and let the festivities begin.
